Today I got pre-weighed before being hooked up at dialysis and I was surprised to see an all time heaviness due to my fluid intake and eating soups every morning considering that I eat only almost two times a day and I do not even eat a full meal for that matter.
So I was heavy before dialysis and I am not expecting from my nurses to take the whole extra fluids that I have added to my body. And so I got hooked and had the preliminary blood pressure reading of 160/90 which is understandably high since I have an extra volume of fluids circulating in my body.
So every hour the nurses took the reading of my blood pressure, 160-150, and then down to 110. I got worried because it is a prelude to blood pressure crashing.
I tried to endure until the supposed termination of the hour that I expected. I was already not feeling well about an hour before I gave up and asked for my blood to get returned. I thought that the termination was earlier than I expected but after I gave up the nurse told me that there is still 15 minutes to go before the end of treatment.
But at that point I cannot really endure anymore because my vision is already dimming, I was already close to being blacked-out. So they ended the treatment and I felt a relief. I can still maybe endure 80/60 but not below that pressure.
Anyway I was just thankful that my blood got cleaned and nothing is more divine for my body to get a recharge. I would like to have a three times per week of dialysis but it is an expensive procedure and very inconvenient for me and my parent so I am just trying to be contented about my twice weekly treatments just for the sake of practicality. All is well now, for now that is.
