My grandfather, the father of my father was a drinker and he smokes too. I do not know how old he is when he died because his death was due to an accident. But he suffered a stroke, a mild one that left the half of his body paralyzed. We tried to exercise his arm for the hope that he can regain the use of it again but he told us everytime that he was hurting.
Smoking have a thousand chemicals in it and one smoker friend of mine is always looking flushed red with his skin. It is because the carbon monoxide which he gets from smoking binds with the red blood cells. That in turn makes his blood deliver oxygen to his body's cells so it then "thinks" that it is starving in oxygen so the the kidneys sends a hormone to the body which the bone marrow picks up and it then releases extra red blood cells.
Extra red blood cells is not good because it will make the blood thick and can raise the blood pressure too as well as be a cause of blockages in arteries that are already compromised. So my friend is flushed red because of extra red blood cells in his circulatory system brought about by his smoking because of the carbon monoxide in his blood.
The video tells some of the things that smoking does to our bodies and there is nothing really there is a benefit from smoking with nothing to weight about its benefits because smoking just causes a person to get subjected in a lot of health risks including cancer and stroke.
