My experiment today for my blood pressure stabilization effort during my dialysis did not yield a satisfactory result because I am suspecting that I didn't get enough caffeine from the two instant coffee sachets that I drank about thirty minutes and then an hour after of being hooked at dialysis as my BP again began to fall down constantly towards the end.
My blood pressure at the first hour reads 170/90 after sitting to my dialysis chair pre-dialysis but it went down to 160 after being hooked up. After an hour it went down again to 130-140 so I got worried that it may crash again. At the second hour it is already 100 but I am not feeling it but they stabilized it at 110 after they raised my feet and adjusting my machine.
Then the nurse didn't mange to get my BP readings on the third hour because I was eating my supper which I haven't finished because I had a snack prior plus that breakfast of stir-fried noodles and my milk. So those meals just made me full, but maybe because of the coffee that I drank that I just felt satiated until I am at the end of my dialysis session. Next time I will not eat much before dialysis.
But at the end of my dialysis session my BP already had crashed to 80/50 and at that point my heart already is getting sluggish with its beats. And so they ended my session just short of eight minutes before finishing. I just agreed with that because I am feeling uncomfortable already with the slowing heartbeat, a sign of an impending shock. So the dialysis finished quite prematurely.
I am running out of options now how I can avoid being so hypotensive because it disrupts my dialysis session and the crucial completeness of the cleaning process could not be achieved when it happens. But I will strive to find ways how I can manage my BP because it is important for me to get the best clean possible for my blood because it would translate for my better well-being between dialysis treatments.
