Physical disability is accompanied with lot of challenges that directly affects the social and economic lives of the physically challenged persons which directly results in poor quality of lives. Nigeria is one country with very scanty provisions for the rehabilitation of people living with disabilities (PWDs), most people in some parts of Nigeria are not even aware of the availability of certain technologies that can lurch them back to their active phase of life, their ignorance on the available mobility solutions and the stigmatisation fueled by the society has made most PWDs hopeless about living out their individual potentials, I feel that as a prosthetist it's also my obligation to create this awareness thus, I had to dig into my 2014 archive to choose a video of an interview I featured on a RAVE TV show called "my body and I" this video answers almost every question anybody may have about limb loss and general mobility needs.
My goal of helping to restore mobility for people—or protect what mobility they have—stands behind each and every of my services. The conviction that quality of life is closely associated with a maximum of individual freedom, independence and economic developments is a key concept that has been a major influence throughout my career.
