There are some habits we engage in occasionally, sometimes unknowingly that can be quite detrimental to the health of the kidney, such as:
Not taking adequate water - when you take water always, it can go along way in preventing kidney stones. This is because the kidney depends on liquids to function well. So when the thirst comes with all its might, don't go all stingy with your water intake, it is good for the health of the body.
Too much of Salt intake - It can be so easy to reach out of the salt shaker and add a little bit, and then some more. Reduce foods and snacks that are high in Sodium, instead replace these meals with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Inadequate Excercise- Excercise can go a long way in keeping the body and cardiovascular system in perfect working condition. It is good to excercise on a regular basis. Its not necessary u hit the gym, instead option for walking instead of driving, do stretches and many more.
Insufficient rest- Resting is very essential for the body, it heals and renew the body. If the quality of rest is not good, it could block arteries and increase blood pressure, thus, increasing the likelihood of damage of the kidney.
