As a doctor, I have to disagree with your starting statement that: Doctors and scientists do not seem to be helping humanity when it comes to helping people gain health.

Down vote me if you like: as a hospitalist, I help people daily. You sound like someone couldn't hack it in medical school and now it's trying to "blame the establishment" for it.
