That brings us to the question of the day "What is an Ox?

About 5 Years ago, I was driving down the road within the campus, with my two guardian Angelic Twin Roses in the rear seats.
One toddler was drowsy and fell asleep in her seat. The other toddler was wide awake, happy to keep me company while i drove home.

So I saw a brown skinned mangy dog🐩 lying down on the grass, slumbering softly and dreaming probably of a bony meal of sorts. I slowed down so we could get a clearer view of our four footed friend or foe?

Anyhow, feeling very academic and determined to assess the level of Literacy and subsequently impart
knowledge, I asked my 4 year old offspring...:

Baby what is the name of this animal?

Maryrose took a long earnest look at the creature and declared with great emphasis:

" It is a goat ".🐐

😳😳😳

I had to march the car brake to take a 2nd look at the mammal... in case my mental ability to differentiate between two domestic animals had undergone Disuse Atrophy or non-use dystrophy (forgive this medical jargon), it just means if you don't use it , you loose it.

Anyhow, as I was trying to convince my Maryrose, that
she was wrong about the name she baptized the poor animal, lo and behold,
Rosemary arose from her drowsy nap. She listened to the ongoing brouhaha between her Mum and Twin sister, with rapt attention.
After assessing the scenario before her, she put on this very sober professorial posture, (she is Daddy's negative..meaning carbon copy aka replica) then pronounced with a voice loaded with certainty,

No, it is not a goat, it is a Rabbit!! 🐇

Oh my goodness!!!

So you see why I am asking what an Ox is.😒
Could it be related to the Bush rabbit or Grass cutter or Squirrel ??
At least we all agree it's not a member of the Skunk family....!😇
