So after years of neglecting my poor tootsies and living with scaly dragon feet, I've decided to do something about it! Dave's getting his first pedicure. Break out the belt sander and industrial tools cause my feet will test the poor beauticians skills. Seriously I gots some ugly feet. I work outside doing trade work all-day and walk everywhere barefoot. The soles of my feel look like they were forged by walking through Mordor its self. Don't believe me. Take a look at these bad boys!
And the other
Yeah sorry I just did that to you. But seriously take a look at those feet. They need some rejuvenation.
So I chose a local place called Nail Envy. I was glad I did. With the soft muted pink and powder blue hues, Thai bamboo adorned ambiance and most importantly rows of massage chairs and iridescent sparkling hot soaking tubs I soon settled in to a stress relieving haze. Did I mention massage chairs! Oh man my back is happy right now as I type this. And so far my feet love it too soaking in hot soapy water. The hallmark channel playing sappy movies on the widescreen tv in front of my I could do without though. I'm much more keen on nature documentaries and soothing flute with sounds of burbling creeks. Hold on I need to try one of the next massage functions on the chair. Ah yes this pummeling setting is nice.
Anyways, Vahn my pedicurist swears she's seen worse as she inspects my feet. I didnt know that was possible.
However, after a good soaking in hot water and an hour of intensive treatment my feet look and feel fantastic.
Thanks for reading as i go on my very first spa adventure. Hopefully my feet didnt scare you off before you could finish the post.
I need to come back in a month to try and get the dragon scales off my feet better but they're almost gone. And the soles of my feet no longer snag on the bedsheets. Now to wear socks and puts the lotions on the skin for the next week straight to try and keep my feet feeling nice. I definitely think I will start making pedicures a regular thing.
