Your body can offer you a few signs when your mind is tired. Here are a few questions you should ask yourself when you’re feeling low.
Is you body sufficiently hidrated?
Water helps you eliminate toxins and negative feelings. If you’ve gone through a faze in which you had a lot to work, physically and mentally, your body will need more water then the usual, so make sure to offer it as much as it needs.
Have you eaten something nutritious in the last 3 hours?
When you go through a difficult time, you don’t really feel like eating. You settle to a quick snack, or you turn to fast food to keep your stomach full. Even if it will satisfy your hunger for a short period of time, on the long run it will lead to you being more tired, or even exhausted, because your body doesn’t receive enough nutrients.
Have you stopped for a moment just to…breathe?
Take a few seconds, close your eyes, relax your mind and inhale deeply. It will help you relax. If you feel any resistance while doing this, keep practicing.
You’ll see that once you got to the 5th deep inhale, you’ll feel a lot more calm.
Have you said or done anything nice lately?
One of the best ways to stimulate your well-being is to say or do something nice for somebody.
Even the simple gesture of holding the door for a stranger or sending a nice text to a friend will help you feel better.
Have you done something that you like?
Most of the times, we’re too busy with our lives, so we forget to enjoy ourselves. Life is meant to be lived, and that implies us doing something that we love.
