I
have been following Jack Kruse's Epi Paleo diet/prescription for a bit over a week now, which includes waking up at dawn (that part was easy, I can't help it), icy cold shower, and shortly thereafter, a high protein, high fat breakfast that excludes seeds, anything from the potato/tomato family, if possible fish, or else other meats, eggs, and not so much milk, and regular sun exposure (the sun streams into my apartment such that I can be in the sun while I sit at my computer) and as much as possible, staying in electrical contact with the earth (I have a wire I keep touching my skin while I sit, that is attached to the earth wire in a power socket).
Those who remember reading about this previously may recall my excitement at the whole thing - I spent about 3 days or more reading through posts on his blog - here is a brief primer on this regime:

I just want to report that I am feeling so energetic now, I am waking up in the morning literally almost bouncing out of bed. I did stop drinking caffeine drinks about 2 weeks ago also, which is also part of the prescription.
This morning I have to make a trip out to the airport to chase up two deliveries of things that are going to be a big part of my fitness regime next. Something important to note about this prescription is you should not do any significant amount of exercise, as in, for its' own sake, until you start to feel the effects on your energy level. Well, that means I can start doing exercise pretty soon.
The exercise regime will consist of a morning stretch routine, pushups, situps, squats, at first, just slowly building it up, and then as I start to get stronger, I will be going down the road somewhere nearby to sprint.
You can read a lot more about this diet/exercise/etc regime on his blog, and I can't recommend enough that you do. I haven't felt this much energy since I was a teenager, and it's just starting...
