The number of energy centers in the body is 7 and its known as chakras. Each of those chakras is located throughout the human body in such a way that correlates to specific body ailment and physical dysfunctions. Further, included in every chakra, our mental and emotional strengths. When a physical issue appear, it can creates weaknesses in our emotional behavior.
1st or Root Chakra sits at the base of your spine, at your tailbone.
2nd or Sacral Chakra is located two inches below your navel.
3rd or Solar Plexus Chakra is located three inches above your navel.
4th or Heart Chakra is located at the heart.
5th or Throat Chakra is located at the throat.
6th or Third Eye Chakra is located in the middle of the eyebrows, in the center of the forehead.
7th or Crown Chakra is located at the top of the head.
