No matter how you smoke various substances (I.e. tobacco, cigarette) is dangerous to your health. There are no safe substances in any tobacco products, from acetone and tar to nicotine and carbon monoxide, and these substances that you inhale will affect your entire body.
Smoking can increase your risk of a variety of problems over several years and note that some of these effects are immediate.
THE NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF SMOKING ON YOUR HEALTH
The negative effects of smoking do not come immediately; it comes over time after a gradual compilation of those toxic substances which can last for years.
According to research Cigarette is said to contain about 600 ingredients, many of which are found in cigars and its likes. When these ingredients burns, they generate more than 7000 chemicals, According to American Lung Association, these chemicals are poisonous, and they can have effects of cancer.
The Nigerian ministry of health warns that smokers are liable to die young, these warning been openly ignored by many individuals today. The resulting effect has been increased in the mortality rate of smokers. Statistics show that mortality rate for smokers is three times that of people who never smoked. The adverse effect is discussed below.

The nicotine substances present in tobacco makes you feel anxious, irritated and depressed. Withdrawal can cause a headache and sleeping problems.
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
It causes the destruction of Air Sacs in your lungs, also can cause temporary congestion and respiratory discomfort as your lungs and Air ways and increased in mucus production.
CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM
These substances like nicotine cause blood vessels to tighten, which restricts the flow of blood, it also increased blood pressure and as a result of these will leads to stroke if care is not taken.
INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM (HAIRS, NAILS, AND SKIN)
Substances in tobacco cause changes in hairs, nails, and skin resulting from skin diseases and cancer, increases fungal in nail infections.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
Based on research it has come to notice that smoking cause enlargement in mouth, throat, larynx and esophagus cancer, also developed insulin resistance that increases the risk of type 2diabetes and its compilation.
SEXUALITY AND REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM.
Nicotine substances affect blood flow to the genital areas of both men and women. It decreases the sexual performance of men and results to sexual dissatisfaction by reducing lubrication and the ability to reach orgasm for females.
