I too learned about elderberry syrup in Cali. And I guess you could say it was at the beginning of my crunchy mama journey :) My recipe is the basic variety but I'm def going to try yours soon. I've been visiting Canada and stumbled on a store variety with apple cider vinegar and it's amazing. Thanks for sharing!
