Good Morning Bright and Beautiful Steemian Mulitverse!
I do hope your portion of the hologram is prosperous, plentiful, and abundant!
So what about that damn adversity? Those hard times that remind us of what stress really is?
I don't think that most people understand and realize that stress is very important. It is a large part of what keeps us alive. Stress tells us when to eat, drink, take a breath, eliminate, sleep and every other function necessary for life. This is what I call "body stress." People no longer have a healthy relationship with body stress, which I will cover at a later time. When "mind stress" occurs, it filters into the body, and is then translate into body stress.
Mind stress comes from all angles for all sorts of reasons, some good, some bad. Either way, it is stress. Now, keeping in mind that the Subconscious is always fighting to maintain homeostasis (or it's perceived state of balance) when mind stress or body stress are felt, subconsciously will try to alleviate it by what ever means works.
Sidebar: this may not be how every addiction is formed, but this mechanism is the root of how every addiction becomes an addiction and remains in force for any length of time.
STRESS IS GOOD!
People have forgotten how to live healthily with it, cope with it, and address it as what it is.
Stress tells the lobster when to leave it's shell.
If when we experience stress we mask it, or try to escape from it, or ignore it's existence we then rob ourselves of an opportunity to ascend, evolve, and become better individual souls.
Thank you for visiting my page steemians!
