Lately I’ve been noticing the same pattern everywhere, in the office, on public transport, even in the mall, more people coughing, sneezing, and looking tired. It’s not dramatic, but it’s enough to make me a little more careful. I don’t like getting sick, and honestly, who does, especially when work keeps moving even when your body wants to pause.
So I’ve been taking my health a bit more seriously. I started drinking vitamin C and zinc because I read that the combination can help support the immune system. It feels like a small habit, but it gives me peace of mind. And if I’m being honest, the routine itself is comforting, like telling myself, I’m doing what I can.
Of course, vitamins aren’t magic. I’m trying to pair them with simple choices that actually matter, more water, decent meals, and enough sleep when I can manage it. As Buddha said, “To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.”
Another thing on my mind is how expensive it can be to get sick these days. Even a basic consultation, tests, and medicines can add up quickly. That reality is pushing me to think more responsibly about my health insurance too. Upgrading it might not feel exciting, but it’s the kind of adult decision that future me will probably appreciate.
For now, I’ll keep focusing on prevention, small steps, steady habits, and a little extra gratitude for every healthy day.
