Headache is a common pain humans experience every now and then and several things can trigger it. It could be stress, dehydration, for women it could be menstruation or even early pregnancy but stress is the common cause and most times it could be symptoms of an illness but to be sure of what it really is it is advisable to visit a pharmacy or hospital to run a test.
You can either feel a sharp pain on the left or right side of the head and most times it can cause a watery eye or runny nose. Most of the patients we see in hospitals with daily headache have overused their medication. If they keep taking more drugs for every pain they keep having headaches, so the patient becomes addicted and desperate. Too much medication can cause the brain to shift into an excited state triggering more headache. Also, the overuse of painkillers for aches can ironically lead to rebound headache just by using over the counter drugs like aspirin acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Self medication too in such cases are very dangerous. If a person experiences a headache and every time takes a particular drug it would get to a stage where it would no longer be effective on that patient.
