Hi, guys, steemit, good night, tomorrow and semester thanks to God, so I want to share in each post the concomitants I saw during this semester, one by one. To begin I will talk about what they are concomitant:
Concomitants are facultative microorganisms that attack a cell, these change their cytomorphological aspects, as they are pathogens either of high grade or low grade depending on the microorganism. The first one I will talk about is garndnerella vaginalis: it is a bacterium, a bacillus, which causes leucorrhoea, pruritus, burning when urinating, cytology changes the cytomorphology of the cells of the cervix, changes such as:
Picnotic nucleus
Outside coconut-bacillary bacterium (remembering that the normal flora should be bacillary).
Here is a cytology taken with my phone in one of the laboratory practices I had of how these cells are observed with garndnerella vaginalis or vaginosis.
And what is observed in this field of the lamina and what I pointed out is a guiding cell with many cocci bacilli inside the cytoplasm, and around many polymorphonuclear cells (immunological cells that appear when there is inflammation abound) and its flora is coconut-bacillary
