First, the combination of chemical compounds in bitter melon is able to regulate how much glucose is absorbed by the intestines into the blood after a meal. Second, the chemical compounds present in the bitter melon stimulate signals on the muscle cells to take glucose from the blood and convert it into glycogen.
But there are some things to note when processing bitter melon for consumption. In order to keep the benefits awake, try the bitter melon not cooked for too long, just boiled or steamed to taste. or even enough with the juice.
