Ginger is a superfood. It has many benefits. For me, I have used ginger in my cooking for as long as I remember. There are many chinese, Indian & Malays cuisine that requires ginger in the recipe. For me, I put ginger in all my meat recipe. I even use it for cooking vegetable sometimes.
But today, I am going to show you how to make a a very easy ginger drink that is not only good for your health but it will also help you to lose weight.
Take about 1.5 inches of ginger
Peel the skin off, slice it into thin slices & pound it in your mortar & pestle.
Scoop it into a mug & pour boiling hot water into it.
Stir it well. If you want it to be more effective, you can add jeera (cumin) power into it. Stir together & leave it for half an hour.
This is cumin powder.Sieve it into another mug & enjoy all the benefits of this great drink. This is what is left of mine after I drank most of it. Sorry, I forgot to take the picture before I drank it.
