As a personal trainer I see a lot of people looking for the right combination of healthier eating habits as well as finding exercise that is sustainable, and keeps them accountable.
We all have different reasons to eat well and exercise but I've seen for the most part is tha people just want to lose weight as being the main reason.
This just amplifies that epedmic we are seeing all around the world in obesity were almost 1 in 3 people are being diagnosed as being overweight and obese.
There are however many people who are actually struggling to put weight on, so as a personal trainer I try to find ways and solutions to help them reach their goals ralitvily with all the support and help they need.
When looking for a trainer from my experience over here the 5 years I have been in the fitness industry the things I'd suggest would be-
Try them before you buy them, don't comment to a long term contract before trying them. You may find out you don't like the way they work
Experience beats qualification most of them the time hands down. It's easier for a trainer who has lost lots of weight to be able to help you than a body builder who has never been overweight.. But if you wanted to body build then they would be ideal
Don't base it all about looks, as looks can be very deceiving in the fitness world as most of the fitness models and celebs are usually on anabolic steroids and are far from fit or healthy and care more about themselves then their clients
We can all do great things by ourselves but some of us can do greater things with the right people around us, supporting and uplifting us
