Hi Steemers, My name is Val and for 6 years I work as a Massage Therapist. My primary target is to work with high& performance athletes (bodybuilders, MMA athletes, gymnasts, Judo wrestlers etc.). However, general public are regular visitors as well. I started my career 6 years ago, since then I got Diploma of remedial massage (with two awards), graduated as a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences as with double major and now I am at the last year of Osteopathic medicine course.
Due to the fact that I have a "bit" of positive experience, plus I constantly reading literature related to manual therapy and research papers, some information can be useful for people suffering, with lower back, neck, thorax, SIJ, myofascial and other etc. All information I am going to provide you with will be evidence based + explained in context of my personal subjective experience (none of it will be a direct proposition for an action). Also, some hints what to do and what to avoid during intensive period of training will be given. If your daily activity relates to static, dynamic or mixed load you will find here some useful information as well.
So if you are interested in all I've mentioned above, WELCOME ON BOARD.
