My wife and I switched to bullet proof coffee a few months ago. While we don't follow the whole bulletproof diet, simply switching from our morning latte to a bulletproof coffee made a big difference. From our experience so far the bulletproof coffee provides a consistent energy rather than a huge caffeine spike, then crash.
Since we live in Canada the trademarked "Bulletproof coffee" and "Brain Octane" was hard to find and expensive. A bit of research revealed that brain octane is basically MCT or medium chain triglycerides, which is much easier to find at a health food store. Want an even easier substitution for "Brain Octane"? MCT is derived from coconut oil, this is what we use.
