Genetic engineering - field of medicine, which with its sufficient development will significantly affect the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system, cancer, AIDS and other diseases that are considered incurable today. Level of modern medicine’s development does not meet necessary requirements of society still using outdated mechanisms and technologies.
Each person is unique and has its own genetic code, but doctors continue to use method of trial and error, prescribing same drugs to different people without taking into account individual intolerance and reaction of drugs to the body due to differences inherent in genetic code of patients.
Medicine should be individual, taking into account characteristics of each organism and its reaction to prescribed drugs. The Shivom project aims to tease old treatment approach and create a new era of individual medicine based on Blockchain technology. Shivom will create a single eco-system by bringing together doctors, patients and necessary human genome data based on Blockchain technology.
Everyone will be able to enter their DNA data into database based on Blockchain technology. Users will be able to directly give data about their genome to other users who need necessary information using smart contracts. Each participant of the Shivom project will be able to get information about possible risks to their health through study of DNA, as well as quality treatment.
Pharmaceutical companies with access to data from the Shivom network will accelerate development of essential medicines, which will make individual healthcare a reality.
Using analytical data of human DNA databases collected on platform of the Shivom project, in cooperation with pharmaceutical companies, the timely creation of necessary medicines with ability to predict possible diseases will become a reality.
