This is the same word used when speaking, for example, of the servants of Abraham or even Jacob. I am not sure if I have ever seen a word in the scriptures for "slavery" in all my reading.
Wow, this is fascinating. In English we see the word "slavery" numerous times. How many people today are burdened with "hard labor" being paid only a living wage? This is no different than what we would call "slavery".
