The Louvre Museum is an art museum located in the capital of France Paris in the former Royal Palace of the Louvre. there we can see works of art such as, fine art and decorative impressionism.
we can find works from different periods such as the important mona lisa from the Renaissance period and works from ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.
The building of the Louvre was united to the palace of the Tuileries (Palace of the Tejeras) forming a single group until 1870, when this last one was destroyed in the facts of the Commune of Paris. The artistic treasures of the Tuileries were lost in the palace fire, whose ruins were demolished; since then, the Louvre dominates the large open park on the site.
