Hello, April💛
It's quite hard to believe the first quarter of the year is gone. Time definitely flies! Perhaps our busyness in real life has contributed to that feeling. We wake up, start getting things done, sleep, then repeat. Lol!
Anyway, one of the boys (called U) decided to leave for good. He told us he was going home for a few days to check on his (new) wife and kid. He will spend Holy Week with them and then return soon after.
He asked for a cash advance. Unsuspecting, the Farmboy gave him enough. They agreed that he would spray his plants first before leaving, but the moment we drove away yesterday afternoon (to attend my niece's grad party), he packed his things and left hurriedly. He then sent us a short message saying we need to find a replacement because he is not coming back.
Over the last few days, we noticed that his wife had been calling him. The hubby says the same happened when they made a delivery to the capital, so we presumed he must have been forced to go home, especially since they had just gotten hitched last month. It would be terrible if they stayed miles apart in their honeymoon stage.
Yeah, we understand.
No questions. No blaming. In fact, we admire him for choosing his wife over his job. So we wished them the best as they start their new life as a family, and if they ever decide to come back, we are just a call away.
It's not easy to find trustworthy workers these days, but we hope someone's feet will lead them to us, and that they will stay much, much longer than Mister U and B.
Until then, life goes on :)
