In my last post on this subject I said you do not have enough, and this is true, but you also have some choices that will impact the decisions you make on the platform. One of the mantras has been to focus on a 100% power up and you should want to do this because it increases your vesting power. More than that it represents your belief in the platform, and rather than removing rewards should be powering them up thinking about Hive in 3-5 years. We are building something for the future. A more balanced approach is that you could have some of your Hive in HP and some of it in HBD.
How much of my Hive should be liquid?
Here is an example of where I am right now, with just under 30% of my rewards liquid and most of it, 71% vest as Hive Pressure. When you have Hive powered up, it becomes pressure in the blockchain that allows you to comment, post and upvote both valuable content created by the community, vote for proposals and also for witnesses. Getting your Hive Pressure level over 101 HP is very important because this unlocks curation rewards. Learn how to vote strategically to maximise curation your rewards!
