Last Week
It was Valentines Week! So, naturally I requested your oooshiest and gooshiest love poems; to me, your significant other, your crush... or even your dog. I don't judge.😏
Somehow, (I'm assuming everyone was having actual loving relations with one another and couldn't be bothered for this challenge) we only had 6 entries! What the?! Ya gotta tell your friends to play! The more entries, the more chances to win. But, today's winner... well, being the only one, that's pretty awesome. 😎

Now... what to do today...?
Let's learn a little about some sweet, sweet slang. The kids these days are making up words left and right, not to mention just completely changing definitions. I mean, literally now means figuratively, literally. 🤦 How am I suppose to function in this world?!😬
CONTEST RULES
- 👉Write something using the term TOTES and one other piece of slang (from any decade) below.
Definition of totes: Totally.
Example: "I totes hate going to Wal-Mart during the day, but getting to stop at Arby's is amazeballs."
You can write a story, a thought, a poem, a rant... anything, as long as it contains totes and something else.
Here's a short list of current (terrifying) terms you might use: Bae, Yaas, Low Key, Extra, AF, Turnt, Lit, Salty, Bruh, Thirsty, Basic, Slay, Adulting, Shook, Fam, Savage, FOMO. There are SO many... good luck navigating the seas.
- Put it in the COMMENT section. You can also do a post and link to it, but it must be in the comment section.
- 👉Choose a pic/gif/meme to go with your thoughts. (Presentation is always important.)
- Use the word totes at least 3 times in casual conversation today. It helps solidify your newfound word. #themoreyouknow (Obviously, I won't be able to know if you've done this... but you will. Are you cheating yourself?)
