More of a story about ageing really.
We've lived in wrecks for decades, and I've fixed them up.
So this is a short intro about me, and my discovery about what a hernia is!
In the last few months I've put down a patio out the back ( yeah!), and I'm off to
rebuild a wall in the morning that a) some scaffolders hit with their lorry a while back, and then b) storm Doris blew over a while ago.
So...here's the thing. When you're lifting, you got to do it right, and I think that when I picked up cement for these little projects, I did it in good clothes, and wanted to keep them clean...and the result, I think, is a little hernia
Which makes me feel mortal, and old, bah.
But then again, I have felt old since I was 13.
Could be the cement , could be the exercise that the mid life crisis has brought on ( I have been having that since 13 too)
Anyhow, off to the doctor on Monday, and see about experiencing our NHS for an op, while we still have an NHS.
4:30 am start in the morning. Yikes
