The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a truly remarkable 5-book trilogy of epic proportion, written by an unsung genius of literary conveyance, and this is my own personal expansion of a throwaway comment about an inconsequential alien species in a side story of no great significance to the greater overall plot which represents quite well the analogous manner of human societal mockery for which our aforementioned author is most well known, if you exclude his penchant for creating sentences of such substantial length and obscure if not inordinate vocabulary and structured in such a mind-rending fashion as to leave even the most extreme of grammatical Nazis scratching their heads in confusion over the appropriateness of issuing a correction. That being said, I am a fan and here is my fic.
