HI STEEMIT

I Go By D CG. I been quietly hanging around Steemit since July 2017. I'm Hive account@dreamingirwin 's little sis. He is why I created an account on Steemit to begin with. I wanted to read his post, comment and vote. I enjoyed reading what he has written and even surprised what I can learn about my own brother through his writing that I didn't know before. Well after going on a few adventures with him for his post and seeing how much fun he has been having I figured why not try it out for myself. After all I do have a voice. There is no reason for me to stay quiet in the back ground just viewing what's happening here.

I am actually very excited about posting. I have one "article" partially done and a 2nd in the works. Apparently I have to start with an introduction first though before I move on to those. Its Just like me to dive right in and take off after secretly scoping out the place. SO let me slow down...

ABOUT ME...

I'm in my 30's Married with 2 beautiful children (a boy and a girl). I also have my 89 year old grandfather who has 3rd stage Alzheimer's living with us. We own a little home. In our home you'll find 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rabbit 1 fish and snails my daughter snuck in (yuck). Oh and before you ask No, no doves or a Pear tree :-) I am currently a stay at home wife/mom due to a work related injury 4 years ago. The Injury has given me a few challenges but I have learned a lot through the experience. In hopes to boost my health I changed my eating habits and I now stick to a keto diet. Its been over a year now. I lost 144 pound and feel really good.

As for past time I mostly hang out with my children. In the winter it is very hard to stay active. The cold is rough on me but during the spring to fall I am in my element. I love being outside with my kids. If I could swim all year round I would. For now Its the lazy hang out indoors kind of days. Honestly though I wish I had more time for reading like I once did. Most of my reading now a days are children books to my kids. I cannot remember without straining myself what was the last adult book I read... though I know it was when my son was an infant. Probably before the accident. The accident cause me head trauma and a lot of things changed for me. I have to make a mental note to try and read a book start to finish for myself...
