If you believe in forever
Then life is just a one-night stand
If there’s a rock and roll heaven
Well you know they’ve gotta helluva band.

I just saw the most amazing collection of vinyl LP’s.
And it’s all for sale.
The collection is in Geelong and it’s being sold to raise funds to keep the old Malting House in Corio going as a worthy project.
If you can imagine all the most awesome music from 1950’s until today.... it’s all represented here. The most latest I saw was Iron Maiden’s The Final Frontier (2010).
There are bootlegs of Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones, for example. Punk, New Wave, Classic Rock, Pop, Progrock, Blues, Roots, Psychedelic, Instrumental, Metal.... it’s all represented (except for Hip Hop, but that’s not really music 🤭😉)
The only problem is it’s being sold as a single collection. So it’s out of my league.
But also because I think vinyl is dead and CD’s are the superior format (after cassette, of course).
But if I could rescue this collection, I would.
When I see this, I see the history of rock music. And I want to be able to honour it in some way.
Don’t cha know I’m never gonna lose that funky sound

In a post by I was commenting on this morning, I asked about whether there was a Discord community for music geeks like us to hang out and appreciate recorded music.
Maybe there is and I’ve yet to be let into that club... but in the event that there’s not, I’m going to create a Discord server for that to happen.
Plus, I’d love for people who truly respect the rock to catch my #hifimixtape posts and the associated live stream ‘pirate radio’ show.
I’m hoping to do one this weekend, and I think I’ll theme it on the #x-daysofmusic.
In any case, if anyone has thousands of $$$ to buy what could seriously be a truly remarkable LP collection, let me know and maybe I can DM you details of the guy selling these.
’Cause Rock ‘n’ Roll ain’t no riddle, man
To me it makes good, good sense.
