It's finally the day. I got to these large buildings followed by other buildings. It's all weird looking. I step out of the car and can smell the sweet air as it flows through my black thick hair. When I look out I see a swarm of students rushing into the largest building on the property. I also rush in there. I accidentally bump into this blonde girl. "Sorry!" I tell her.
"Oh, it's fine. Come on lets go! It's about to start!" She then pulls my arm into this theatre. "Oh and by the way my name is Mary!"
"Violet." I felt a little awkward. I mean, I didn't even know her and she is pulling me into lord knows what. We sit by this girl. Her hair has a nice ginger to it. She has some freckles on her pail skin. Her eyes are a dark color. She wears a black and white hat backwards.
"Hi, my name is Rachel. Who are you?" The girl asks.
"I'm Violet and this is Mary." I tell her.
"Ssshhhh! It's starting!" Mary hisses. Her smile is so big. The tip of her lips almost touches her ear, if that's possible. The head master goes up front and announces the rules. He's congratulating the students for coming. Afterwards we all go to our rooms.
Mine is 929. When I get in I see Mary and Rachel. "Hi," I say awkwardly.
"Great, I guess we all are roomies. So what's the plan?" Rachel ask.
"Let's get to know each other!" Mary says excitingly.
"Ok then. I am Violet as you already know. I am a goth. I am from Silicone Main. I was also part of a band called Living with the Dead. Oh and I couldn't help but tell that you were looking at the weird scratches on my eye, well that is a long story and I don't feel like talking about it."
"Ok, my turn. My name is Mary. I love pink! My favorite band is One Direction and nail painting is like a hobby!"
"Ok then. Hi, my name is Rachel. I am a Tomboy. I love basketball. Basketball means everything to me."
"Great, now that we all know each other lets go out." I suggest.
"Sure," everyone agrees. When we get to the cafeteria I put my hair over my eyes and put my hood over my face so no one could see the scars. I see this boy looking at me. I got to admit he is kind of cute, but not the point. He keeps smiling at me.
I go up to him. "Is there a problem Mr. Stalker Boy?"
"Can't a guy look at you?" he slowly tells me quietly. I couldn't help but to smile back. He takes my hood off and slid my hair to the side. "That's better."
"Well sorry to tell you, but I am not the girl you should be looking at," I tell him back. He starts grunting and holds the middle of his chest. "Haha, are you ok?"
"Feeling...Rejected....ugh," He teases.
"Haha, what's your name?" I ask.
"Derik, what's yours?"
"Violet."
"Well Violet, hope to see that beautiful face of yours." Then he leaves. I feel myself blush as he slowly walks off with his jock friends. I bite my lower lip and shook my head.
Did that really just happen? Did that boy really just flirt with me? I think to myself.
After everyone ate I go to the dump in the back of the school. I look for a good sized bin and jump in it. I do that to let my thoughts out. Like my own private world.
While I was in there I hear walking. It was coming close. I just remain quiet. Suddenly he looks over the bin and it's Derik. "What are you doing?" He asks.
"Thinking to myself," I tell him. "If your gonna tease just do it already."
"Move over!" Derik demands.
"What?"
"If you don't want to get squashed like a bug move over. I'm coming in." I just lay there. He then hops over and landed on top of me.
"Hah, no get off now!" I laugh.
"Move to the other side!" Derik laughs back. "Ok fine, I'll move." He slowly rolls his large body off me. I was surprised. A normal boy would laugh at me, yet he didn't. "So, why do you like dumpster diving?"
"It's always isolated and I could have time to myself."
We just keep talking. "What happened to your eye?" Derik asks.
"Uh, you know that is a very long story and I don't feel like talking about." I try to keep back the rushing tears trying to push out of my eyes.
"Sorry," Derik apologizes. I then lay my head between his shoulder and arm and fall asleep. "Uhh do you mind?"
"No not at all," I say before I fall asleep.
