On the way out from the hike a usual stopping place is Alzu. It's also a good stop to stretch the legs when heading out to the Kruger National Park
It has a major gas station with restaurants and shops, but to further incentive people to stop it is next to a section with a lot of wild animals. They have set up a watering hole right next to the fence and a feeding station.
Rhino's, buffalo, eland, zebra and the like can be seen coming to feed and you can watch the wild animals blissfully going about their business while you eat your meal from the comfort of an air conditioned restaurant.
In the center of the complex they also have a display to raise awareness about poaching.
I have always been fascinated by skeletons and sculls and they have a whole bunch of these on display
A rhinoceros skull
A hippopotamus skull

A buffalo skull
an elephant skull
