I went for a hike with my partner
Hive account@nikkicole at Mission creek Kelowna, BC to see how the flooding was, since it was closed last time we attempted to go there. We were shocked!!!

What normally is a sparse forest had become completely overgrown! I was born and raised in Kelowna and have hiked this area frequently and have never seen anything like this...

It seems that there is so much flooding around the world right now, it often makes me wonder if we are indeed at the beginning of a magnetic pole shift. With so many volcanoes erupting at once, wild temperature swings and sudden extreme weather it does really make me feel like we are in the midst of some massive earth changes on a global scale...

So much green! We decided to explore around some more and see what we could find...

This is where the trail "normally" goes....not any more!!! Looks like the entire section broke off into the creek for a good 15 meters or so. wow!!!

A beautiful little pond to check out...

Some beautiful flowers in the area as well

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
― Albert Einstein
