This is the Miniature train at Scarborough that runs from The Scalby Arms Pub, and Sea World up to the lake and round the back of the new open air theatre.
Here is a closer shot of the train coming round the lake and into the station next door to the cafe.
To the left of the train you can see the old water flume ride. I seem to remember this ride from many years ago. I'm sure you could get much closer to it as the carriages came through the water. I seem to remember large glass screens
The concrete section to the left where the benches are is where the chair lift used to end at the beach. The pylon has only been removed in the last year. Further up the hillside you can still see the pylons that carried the cable.
This is the old winding house on the top of the hill just to the side of the new stadium. Its in decay now but you can clearly see the wheels and pulleys that wound the cable
