Shadowy Brunswick Square Corner
It's been a while since I've made a Regency Architecture post so I decided to revisit Brunswick Square and show you one of the strange corner arrangements.
The two houses are so different in the details of their design that they seem to fight for our attention rather than compliment each other. Clearly the architects was focusing on each individual house rather than on the square as a whole. It's a bit weird as the rest of the square is pretty uniform in the way it looks.
It's like you can only view one detail at a time to appreciate the grandeur else the spectacle is lost.
It always feels a bit dark and dingy in this corner too.
