For those of us who live in the Pacific Northwest, the spector of volcanos is an ever present, beautiful danger. 37 years ago one such beautiful volcano rumbled to live and blew her top at 8:32am. Mt St Helens is well known due to this incredible eruption and is now one of the most heavily studied volcanoes in the US. In honor of the anniversary of Mt St Helens blowing her top, my kids and I enjoyed this fun YouTube song.
