Yes, artists, much like writers depicted things the way they saw them and understood them.

Again, one has to wonder, How there are so many "coincidences" when it comes to certain topics.

I recall reading that the ancient writing when depicting "demons" were in fact describing "aliens". When I thought about it, it could very well be that back in the day when there weren't any words to describe UFOs and Aliens, that they were seen to be as "demons", hence this then made a lot of sense to me.

Again, understanding what the artists and writers were trying to relay to us is what remains a mystery, "the generation gap" as we like to call it plays a major role in deciphering and understanding things.
