They are in the West now and they have access to all these things. But that is not really what drives them. There is something else going on. There is a teaching and an ideology that is driving the aggression.

The west has its own problems with ideology noticeable in the form of imperialism and taking the resources of other countries. either by cheating them out of their resources or out and out stealing everything by destroying their governments. I see the problem at the root of it all for the West and the Muslim lies in not understanding the "eternal" nature of the soul.

Both cultures the Christian and Muslim teach that the soul is created when the body is created. That there are different types of souls in the different bodies. This opens everything up for might makes right and abuse and exploitation of perceived weaker entities...finding the super race among humans, etc. So there is acknowledgement of God the creator but the understanding of the nature of soul is nonsense. Eternal means no end and "no beginning." If the soul is created when the body is created it cannot "become" eternal. Either the soul is eternal or it isn't. If this one point were cleared up... all the problem of the world could be solved very easily.

The missing piece is the knowledge of transmigration and reincarnation.
