Sefton Parish
Today i thought i would get my camera out and take some pictures of my local church. This church is very old, so old infact that it is the only Grade I listed building in the entire Borough of Sefton (the area i live). The land the church sits on has been used as a place of worship since 1170 but due to the distinctive oval shape of the churchyard, some people think it may have been used as a Saxon burial ground before then, but this is not certain.
My pictures from today
I am still new to doing this, but i am enjoying it a lot and have attempted to create a little visual tour of the place by going around in a circle, hope you enjoy it.

I took so many pictures today i could not possibly fit them all into one post, so i am planning on creating another post or two containing other interesting pictures of the church grounds i took such as very old gravestones and some old graffiti i found scribbled on the church walls and doors so please keep an eye out for those if you enjoyed my pictures.
