The title of this post is a classic Paul Erdos quote. He's my favorite mathematician of all time. Erdos was high on amphetamines and drank way too much coffee. Despite leading such an unhealthy lifestyle, he managed to live past the age of 80 years old. He never had sex his entire life. He was a recluse and never valued material things. He produced 1,475 mathematics papers during his lifetime. Clearly, he was a true genius of the 1st order whose love and extraordinary aptitude for numbers was more than evident at an early age. At age 4, Erdos was able to mentally calculate a person's age in seconds. Explain that!
Here are some epic quotes from this man:
Another roof, another proof.
Some French socialist said that private property was theft … I say that private property is a nuisance.
My brain is open!
SF means Supreme Fascist "What is the purpose of Life?" "Proof and conjecture, and keep the SF's score low."
