There are so many amazing players. There seem to be a lot who mainly do Youtube videos these days.
The amazing thing is that so many players from the 60s are still playing. I enjoy a bit of virtuoso shredding, but I also like good songs. You mentioned Paul Gilbert previously. He runs an on-line school that I am in. He does personal videos for everyone an manages to come up with something different each time. An amazing guy.
