Today we have a big frost. Therefore, when I walked next to the fountain, I remembered about summer. About how good it is near the fountain in the summer heat !!!
A little bit about the fountain.
This place is a favorite meeting place for lovers, appointing romantic dates, photo sessions. The monument is located in the center of the city on the square of Architects. The original sculpture - a guy and a girl are drawn to each other and join the kiss. Around the monument there is a fountain.
The idea of creation has arisen as a result of cooperation of the ex-governor and students of three local high schools, trained at architectural faculties. A contest was proposed for the idea of a monument to lovers. As a result, the winner was a student of the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Art - Dmitry Ivanov. On September 1, 2002, the official opening of the monument took place.
In 2009, the monument was painted in golden color, a fountain was built around the monument. From the north and south side of the fountain are located "7 Wonders of Kharkov".
