Damn, this is one crispy sharp crafted beer, like a japanese ninja of the night this stuff cuts through all the stresses, strains and miles of the day. It’s got a lovely kick and it’s only £2 a bottle from Asda.
It’s kinda cloudy, sharp and metallic, super hints of something creamy and delicious, it’s a summer beer, it’s a head rocking kinda beer if you have too many, it’s a beer feeling pressured into showing up and delivering but does it anyway.
Kiuchi Brewery is a brewery in Naka, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It was established in 1823 by village headman Kiuchi Gihei as a sake and shochu producer. Craft beer production began in 1996 after a change in Japanese law governing micro brewing.
At 5.5% abv it’s a nice chuggable beer, it kinda needs to be extra cold and it’s a great starter beer but also it should be respected, not a beer when your like five bottles deep, it deserves the attention it requires sitting on a balcony overlooking a city covered in neon and choking on it’s own vibrancy.
It’s imported by jamesclay.co.uk and all I can say is keep on doing you James, your turning up and rocking the show — do yaself a favour and swing by Asda and pick up a few bottles.
