Buying things at a cheaper or normal price gives joy while buying things at a higher price and later finding out makes one feel bad. To some of us when we identify a business man or woman, a trader or a vendor that sells his or her goods at higher prices we tend to mark the shop and never to patronize them again. Yes a lot of people do so.
Yesterday I forgot to buy some detergents at the market, while returning home I met a street vendor that sells detergents. I decided to buy just a sachet instead of going home with none. I approached him and inquired of Good Mama detergent, he brought the one he had and it was 45g the smaller sachet. I asked for the price and he said it was ₦300 Nigeria money. I was a bit confused because I used to buy 80g of the same detergent ₦200 Nigeria money so why will the smaller sachet be more costly. I even thought the price of detergent increased that morning in my country. He said ok that I should bring the ₦200 for the 45g sachet and cut it out. I told him I am not buying again that is not the price. He started abusing me saying I have made him cut the detergent out and didn't later buy it. Do you know that I eventually bought 90g of the detergent at ₦200 Nigeria money.
So guys tell me am I the asshole for not buying from him again or is he for trying to sell the detergent double the amount?
