My first sunset back in Guatemala City.
I came home for a short 3 week trip.
With so much to get accomplished.
I bring you through a little journey of my time home in Lake Atitlan.
That boats are busses is one of my favorite parts of living at Lake Atitlan.
There is a vibrant community of weirdos where I live. It was nice to come home to a high standard theatre show created by a close friend.
Buses on top of busses on top of buildings. Too cool!
So much of my time back was dealing with construction. I’m trying to get our family home finished in time for our return near Easter.
You need to fix and prepare roofs, getting ready for the rainy season. I’m the dummy who is planning to build a building butted against where a giant roof pours out in that pummeling way water behaves. So now I have the daunting task of needing to catch all that water in a temporary canal. So we can build the walls and build a for real canal. 🤦♂️
Of course we need beds and furniture delivered. I think they need a bigger truck for our bed. 😬
Important to find a place for the kids unicorn mural 🤣
It wasn’t all work. Found time to shoot a music video with Kaldera and a few guest musicians.
And some studio time to put the final polish on our nearly completed Album
And now I’m on a chicken bus. Headed back to Guatemala City.
Off to get on a plain and reunite with the and Mom.
It’s been to long.
Time for snuggles!
