Ok my dear friend.today I tried another dish a traditional one that's super popular in Parking Punjab and Asia especially in the Punjab region. It's called Sarson Ka Saag. It's super delicious and I want to share the recipe with you.
First get the saag (mustard greens) cut it and remove the leaves from the stems.Cut off the edges and wash the leaves thoroughly.Strain them and put them in a pot.You don't need to add water as the greens have enough moisture.Boil for 5-10 minutes.
In another pot heat oil and saute chopped garlic and onion until golden.Grind the boiled saag and add it to the onion garlic mix.Add green chilies while grinding and red chilies with the onion garlic mix.Add salt and cook the saag mixture.
If it's too thick add a bit of water.Add a fistful of flour optional to thicken it.Cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
For the final touch add a dollop of butter or ghee and temper it with garlic and green chilies.Dish it out and enjoy with roti or boiled rice.
