AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!
It's me
Today I would like to share with you a village-style gram dal recipe. This recipe is very easy to make. Anyone can make this recipe with great ease. It does not require many ingredients because all these things are available in your kitchen. So let's start making this recipe.
The ingredients included in this recipe are as follows:
- Chana Dal (Split Chickpeas) – ½ kg or as required
- Water – for boiling
- Salt – to taste
- Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
- Red Chili Powder – to taste
- Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
- Tomato – 1 or 2 medium
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Green Chilies – 1 or 2
- Fresh Coriander Leaves – a small amount
- Garam Masala – ½ tsp
- Cooking Oil or Ghee – 2 to 3 tbs
As I have said before, this recipe is very easy to make and there is nothing difficult about it.
First of all, we will place a pan on the stove. I have taken a pan. We will add a little oil to it and let it heat up. When it gets a little hot, we will add onion, green chili, and ginger paste to it and fry it for a while.
When it turns brown, we will add lentils and two glasses of one kilogram of water to it and let it dissolve well. When it dissolves, the water will also dry up.
Our delicious recipe is ready and we're going to dish it out in a little while. It smells amazing and I'm already hungry.
This recipe wouldn't be as delicious if it weren't accompanied by a radish, carrot, and cucumber salad, so I prepared the salad as well.
I have dished out the chickpea dal. You will go crazy when you eat it with warm wheat bread and salad.
