Hello@hivefood community..how are you today..I hope everything goes well with you now..I'm here today to share this special muffins with chocolate chips on top..
Since my kids won't eat binignit or the traditional Visayan sweet stew I thought of other snacks for them to eat this Lenten season..Good thing I have more ripened bananas in the refrigerator..So it's a perfect timing to make banana muffins because I have all the basic ingredients with me..
Here are the following ingredients you should prepare..
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup mashed bananas
1/3 cup butter /cooking oil
1 cup brown sugar
1 PC egg
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1 cup Chocolate chips
Prepare first the bananas..washed and peeled it off and start mashing it using fork..
I'm using this Goya dark chocolate chips..
Prepare it in a plate..I'm just using 1 cup of this..
So begin by placing the mashed banana in mixing bowl followed by a brown sugar and a butter..Alternately add each ingredients and mixed it thoroughly..
Sift the flour and other dry ingredients first before adding it to the mixture..
After its consistently mixed, add the egg, All purpose flour, the baking powder and a pinch of salt, continuously mixed it..
Once it's mixed throughly, see that no lumps of flour were seen in the mixture..
Lastly add the chocolate chips and gently mix it..Prepare the steamer and the baking cups..Fill 3/4 of the mixture in the molder and wait for the water in the steamer to boil..Steamed the banana muffins mixture for about 10-15 minutes or until it's done..
Serve with a pair of drinks...Surely kids will enjoy this snacks this Lenten season..
Hopefully you're enjoying my recipe this time of Lent..See you in my next cooking blog journey..Bye👋🏽👋🏽😘😘
